It's That Time of the Year...

Finals. Ugh how I detest finals. I just told my friend Lisa, who's also in law school, but a much more reputable one, that I enjoy learning, but I hate the testing. I'm sure this is the easiest way for the school to know that we've learned something. So I'm doing that last-minute frenzy, where I attempt to learn a semester's worth of material in oh, about a week.

I get to deal with finals on top of all the other crap in my life. Although, things have really been getting better, I must say. V's moving into the apt, taking over my lease. It really does take some burden off of everyone's shoulders, and I also think it's good for her to leave her living situation. A said that she truly believes this was meant to happen, maybe we were meant to help V. It is a nice way of thinking about things, but somehow, I don't like knowing that my pain was just so that V could move in. Just seems like there would be other ways we could have reached the same end result. But it is what it is. I'm thankful, regardless, that V's offered to take my room.

Myra fears that with me moving out, I'll just lose all my friends. That may be the case, but my real friends won't stop being my friends just because we don't live together. And if they do stop being my friends...well, it was meant to be.

Right now, I can't wait to finish school and live the rest of my life. I can't wait to move on and move forward, experience more than just law school. 2nd year is such a drag.

On another note, I think I like my brother's new "girlfriend." He brought her over, although my parents asked him not to (long story), but my first impression of her was a good one. She didn't know anything about me (thanks, brother), but she was easy to talk to, for those few minutes that we spoke. I would really like him to marry someone that I could look up to and think of as another sister. *Sigh*

Danny makes me happy. He booked a tiny getaway to Sausalito during winter break. I'm looking forward to being together again. He makes me laugh. Today, he called, and all I heard was wind. I asked him what he was doing, and he was riding around on his bike. Haha. He's such a big little kid.

Well, here I go, back to doing my evidence outline. At least I'm learning...very slowly. Gotta love finals...
