prophecy

It was pretty amazing. Yesterday, we celebrated my grandma's 80th Birthday. I think she had a great time and was very touched by the slide show danny and I put together. I got scolded for spending so much money on my grandma...It's like I can never win, ya know? Either way...it's not enough or it's too much. One of my aunts got very irritated by the fact that I got my grandma the same blazer she had. I was very annoyed by that, and told her there's a reason manufacturers sell more than one of everything. They mean to SELL more than one of everything! Danny told me not to let it get to me, but I was just so irritated by the fact that she would make such a big deal over something so stupid! Fine, maybe she didn't make a big deal, but it was deal enough to make me notice and shake my head.

I say the evening was "amazing" because everything that I said would happen really did happen. I watched as every single thing I listed (see previous blog) came true one by one. I even laughed when one of my aunts fawned over my brother and told him how he looked like he lost weight. I was so right-on-the-dot that I scared myself!

Well, I was glad that danny decided to come. It was a bit awkward in the beginning, but I think he managed to get past the discomfort. As for my grandma, I think she was just really happy to see that she managed to keep an entire family together. And I guess that's all that matters in the end because it's easier said than done, I'm sure.

I now have to study for my last final - administrative law. So boring. As a warning to other law students, unless you really have a nack for the subject, stay as far away from it as possible. I can't see how even the most exciting professor could manage to keep students interested in admin law. After Tuesday, I'll be done with my 2nd year in law school. My next worry - finding a job.
