roller coaster

Oh man, I was a wreck last night. I was feeling pretty good up until the evening, when I went to the school fridge to get my dinner. Someone had TAKEN it!!! I was quite the angry monster. I wrote out a nasty note and taped it inside the fridge where I had left my dinner. I just can't understand why someone would take my gross leftovers! I didn't even want to eat it that badly.

So I became very unproductive after that point. I suppose I used it as an excuse to go back to my apartment and get dinner. I ended up buying frozen yogurt instead (like Pink Berry, only better!). Then, I came home, and A and I chatted forever about how miserable we are.

So here I am, still on civ pro. I'll never learn this crap. It pisses me off that the Bar expects us to know rules that we can easily learn in practice, if we choose to work in civil litigation. NO attorney I worked for ever really knew all the federal and California rules of civ pro. I'd usually look up rules on when you can file what by what day.

All I see are numbers and rules, nothing fits together in a nice story. It makes it so much harder to remember.

Seriously though, this is it, folks. The end of the road is very near, I can see it. Yes, yes...is all the drama necessary? With everyday that passes, I'm getting closer to writing my own ending to this chapter. Gosh, I really hope it's a happy one.
