My mornings turn into days, which turn into weeks. It's Friday again. Another work week has flown by without any return calls, interviews, or leads. In addition to applying to jobs, I'm preparing for the holidays. It will be the first time I cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner for my in-laws. All this festive planning, but nothing to feel festive about...
Many of you are right in saying that I need to get out there and volunteer. I've joined a couple associations that have volunteer programs. I also have some CLE hours due, which will keep me involved for a little bit.
I've come to the conclusion that it may very well get worse before it gets better. I just hope that my brain won't rot away too much before I finally find a job.
Happy weekend, everyone.

girl, we are in the same boat.
I completely understand where you're coming from. I semi-relate. I have yet to find my dream job but I am currently working at a low pay job with a solo practitioner. One thing you may want to try is contacting a solo practitioner and seeing if they need help for a few months. If there is money, then great. If not, it will give you a lot to put on your resume!
