waiting game

I came out of my interviews the last two days feeling pretty darn good. I'm thinking, whoa this isn't so bad...not bad at all! Or perhaps the 3 days of over-preparing for a couple 45 minute interview was the trick. Either way, here I am just waiting to see what happens.

It's obvious that the employers were interviewing everyone and their mamas. There used to be a time when there would be only a handful of qualified applicants out of the stack. Now, employers seem to actually be taking the time to interview the masses of well-qualified attorneys. And why shouldn't they? They have every right to want the cream of the crop.

All I can do is hope for the best.

I did get another call for a possible interview last night. Maybe things are looking up...
