Ah I realized something today. I wondered why it was so hard for me to finish at least one of my two papers before Thanksgiving. In undergrad, I used to be able to pull out a 20-page paper in two days. Not so easy anymore. Now I'm struggling to get this one paper done, I have 19 pages out of 20 pages. I realized that it's not so easy because I'm actually trying harder. Yes, believe it or not, I am busting my butt off for this paper. I actually care what this professor thinks of me. I care about plagarism (okay, you caught me), and citing works.
But goodness, if caring means that a 20-page paper takes 3 weeks instead of 2 days, maybe I shouldn't care so damn much!
